Alumni Lū‘au: The Fuel Behind the Food and Fun
Monday, September 05, 2016
It has always been emphasized that the gift of a Punahou education is something that will affect students long after graduation. The lessons you learn and the friends you meet stay with you forever. The annual Alumni Lū‘au proves this statement to be true.
Zoe Chock '18 summed up this special event best: "Alumni Lū‘au is a time when everyone can come together and celebrate Punahou School. To me, it's a time when friends and teachers can laugh and reminisce about their classes together or their old hangout spots or the sports they used to play. It's a night of fun, and the student servers play a huge part in making sure guests have a wonderful experience."
This past June, current Punahou Academy students from the Classes of 2017, 2018, and 2019 volunteered to serve the honored guests and alumni at the lū‘au.
