WHAT IS THE LUKE CENTER FOR PUBLIC SERVICE?

The Luke Center for Public Service first opened its doors in April 2004, welcoming students, faculty, parents, alumni, and the larger community alike to get involved in service.  Made possible by a generous gift from the K.J. Luke Family, this unique center strives to fulfill Punahou's vision of "a private school serving a public purpose."

The Luke Center and its staff support students and faculty as a resource, a point of contact, and as advisers for individual or group projects involving community service.  The Center provides a pliable space in which all are welcome to work together to bring service ideas to life during every stage of the process.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

We are located at the heart of Punahou's campus next to the Chapel, overlooking the lily pond.  The Luke Center has an "open door" policy, so walk in anytime, bring a friend, and feel free to look around!
